Our Village Hall is a community facility and makes a perfect venue for a wide variety of indoor events across all age groups. These can include meetings, group activities, social events and performances. We also have a number of regular events in the hall, details of which can be found by clicking the Activities tab, above, or in the latest issue of the Clapham and District Newsletter.

The building comprises two hireable rooms, which can be booked separately or together, and has a fully equipped kitchen (with serving hatch into the supper room) that has approximately 100 sets of crockery and cutlery. There are also male, female and disabled toilets. The whole building is accessible as it is level throughout, though there is insufficient space in the kitchen for wheelchairs. There are two disabled parking bays adjacent to the main entrance.

The hall is also available for private hire for events such as conferences, craft fairs, exhibitions, receptions, classes, and parties. Please note, however, that if you wish to ensure sole use of the venue, or if your activity is likely to be noisy such as a childrens' party, music/dancing or ball games, then you will need to book the whole venue. 

The tables and comfortable chairs in the main hall can be laid out in a variety of configurations. In addition, there is a projector screen, a PA system (with a loop system for the hard of hearing) and a ultra high speed internet connection with free Wi-Fi. The building is fully centrally heated throughout.

Please note that the hall must be vacated between midnight and 7am so is unavailable for overnight hires of any format.
